Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants - De La Salle University Chapter

The Testimonial Dinner is an avenue for the University to recognize the valiant efforts and stellar achievement of its BSA graduates and to celebrate the milestone of the new Lasallian CPAs of the country. The May 2022 CPALE: Testimonial Dinner was held last July 30, 2022, at Ascott Hotel's Mesclun Restaurant and Cafe. As a President's Elite during this time, I handled the technical aspect of the event as it was simultaneously being held online through a Zoom Meeting while the face-to-face event was ongoing. Moreover, I was also the one tasked to invite and communicate with the passers. Consequently, I worked with the Department of Accountancy's faculty members, the 66th Executive Board, and the External Linkages Committee.

The October 2022 CPALE: Board Operations was an asynchronous activity designed to assist the Lasallian CPALE takers in the 3-day duration of the CPA Licensure Examination, primarily through the distribution of care packages. To see the event through, I primarily helped in the distribution process of the care packages. Moreover, I also contributed to ensuring that the packages are packed correctly. I worked on the project along with three more project heads, an Assistant Vice President, and our Vice President. We also enlisted the help of one administrative officer from the Publicity, Logistics and Documentations, and Finance committees for the project.

The May 2023 CPALE: Crash Course was a refresher program for the 2023 CPALE takers, where a lecturer from one of the partner review centers or an Accountancy faculty member taught the subjects for CPALE. Conducted virtually, I handled the project along with two more project heads from the Academics and Corporate Relations Committees, together with two Assistant Vice Presidents and the committees' respective Vice Presidents. I mostly worked on the pre-activity documents, contacted the speakers, drafted the scripts and PowerPoint presentations, and hosted once.

The May 2023 CPALE: Testimonial Dinner celebrated the success of the new Lasallian CPAs who passed the licensure exam. It was conducted at the Diamond Hotel Philippines last June 24, 2023, and hosted about 120 participants. As one of the Project Heads, I led the team's alignment meetings, conveyed proposals with the Department of Accountancy, helped with accomplishing the pre-activity requirements, created the speaker briefing kits, and contacted the firm representatives, among others. During the event, I served as the event's Floor Director, which entails overseeing the registration process and backstage concerns. Moreover, I worked alongside three more Project Heads and three Assistant Vice Presidents, the 67th Executive Board and the 67th External Linkages Committee.
